The fleet will assemble by the Vice-Commodore’s vessel My Space (Do not wander all over the lake.)
When the Commodore’s vessel is on station at MARK 0 (the centre of the fixed mark race course), the Vice-Commodore will head the fleet around a fixed mark to be announced and then pass by the stern of the Commodore’s vessel. Every attempt will be made to sail on a beam reach.

If you need to, use your motor to maintain position, shut off before passing the Commodore’s vessel (unless there is no wind at all). Everyone will maintain station in a single-file line. Find your lead vessel and get in line following. Do not cross the approach line after saluting. If you miss on your first attempt, you may try again at the end of the line.
Power or Sail: Lower the Canadian Flag to half-mast, pause five seconds and return to full hoist.
Stand at attention by the stern staff facing the vessel to be saluted, gather the flag in hand and hold against the staff for five seconds, and release.
Remove the flag from the socket, hold in horizontal position for five seconds and return to socket.
Luff your jib for five seconds, then sheet in and clear the area for the following boat.
- DRESSING SHIP

All skippers to monitor channel 68. Transmit on channel 68 only when communication is necessary.
This year, when all boats have saluted and the Commodore’s vessel has weighed anchor, the fleet will return to the THSC docks by way of the outer ABYC yacht basin where we will circle and salute appropriately.
