Ways and means projects
Membership Obligations: TH&SC is a working club.
All members shall equally share the responsibility for the operation, maintenance
and the carrying out of special projects and improvements.
Members are obliged to perform work equivalent to 2 days (16 hours) annually
in addition to their 4-hour OOD requirement.

- South Washrooms both need a complete painting
- Men’s North Washroom -Repaint as necessary and replace wallpaper strip
- Baseboard heaters throughout the club need to have lower panels re-attached – check on all floors and also clean out dust etc.
- The floor join between the main clubhouse and the Bruce Farquahar Lounge needs to be covered with a strip.
- Ladies North Washroom – refit loose ventilator panel on the inside of the door.
- Replace pipe cover to port of the O.O.D.’s station. The cover is on the floor to starboard of the door.
- Balcony – replace wood trim around the sliding doors. All the material is on the deck. This is URGENT as must be completed before painting of the clubhouse exterior begins.
- Stairs from the loft and the second floor need anti-slip strips fitted. These steps are very slippery when wet.
- Office
- refit Venetian blinds.
- complete the computer desk that is just outside the office and place against the wall
to port of the office door.
- Upper Landing outside the apartment – repaint.
- Kitchen – repaint but needs washing to remove grease build-up first.
- Dock Captains required – full credit for the year.
- Docks – always repairs after the winter, contact
